Vauxhall Holiday Park Darts Festival - Results Round Up

In one of the last competitions of the of the 2012 season, an AM Darts trio of Jake Jones, Casey Gallagher & Fallon Sherrock played at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth, where they all had some fantastic results.

Casey paired with Fallon to take the ladies doubles title beating a formidable pairing of Trina and Sue Gulliver 3-2 in the final.

Jake joined forces with Matt Dickens in the men's pairs where they had a great run to the semi finals where they were stopped in their tracks by John & Andy Roberts 2-1.

In the Ladies singles events Casey won her first game 3-0 taking out a 152 to seal the match, in her next game she defeated her opponent 3-0, bowing out 3-1 in the next round to Claire Ball. Fallon continued her excellent form by reaching not only the Yarmouth Singles final but also the Money in Money out Final which she won against Sarah Thornaby 4-0 with a 24.15av. Fallon's route to the Yarmouth singles final was not an easy one having to play Tricia Wright in the Quarter finals, who she beat 3-0, Claire Ball in the semis, and then Shelly Bontoft of Lincolnshire in the final where she bagged her 3^rd title of the weekend with a 3-2 victory with another fantastic average of 25.88.

Jake not doing too well in the men's singles going out in the last 64 to Ian Randles however Jake joined forces with Matt Dickens in the men's pairs, having a great run to the semi finals where they were stopped in their tracks by John & Andy Roberts 2-1. In the mixed triples Jake & Matt were joined by Fallon where they reached the semi finals, again being defeated by the pairing of John & Andy Roberts, who's team was completed with the ladies singles finalist, Sarah Thornaby. Jake however wasn't satisfied with not having a title of his own to match the girls so he & Fallon took to the mixed pairs where they reached the final without dropping a leg. They beat their semi final opponents with two 16 dart legs to secure their place on the stage. Team AM Darts won the mixed pairs 2-1 with an average of 25.78 against Suzanne Smith & John Jukes giving Fallon her 4^th title of the weekend and not leaving Jake out of the spoils :)
